Pedro Parra, `Vinista` Itata Valley, Chile, is a vibrant Red Still Dry wine crafted from 100% País grapes, sourced from 120-year-old dry-farmed bush vines. This characterful expression of Itata undergoes 30% whole-bunch fermentation and is aged in concrete and stainless steel, with no fining or filtration. It offers aromatic notes of concentrated cranberry, wild herbs, and white pepper, leading to a fresh palate with lively acidity and a peppery, youthful finish. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with charcuterie or lighter poultry dishes.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
Pedro takes a minimal intervention approach to his wine making. The grapes were hand harvested and sorted carefully at the winery. Entirely fermented in concrete tanks with whole clusters, the wine was then aged for a year in foudres and concrete tanks before release. No fining or filtration took place.
This vibrant Red Still Dry wine offers an aromatic and savoury experience. Expect concentrated cranberry notes intertwined with wild herbs and a distinct white pepper spice, leading to a fresh palate with lively acidity and a youthful, peppery finish.
Serve at 12-14°C; a light decant will allow its fresh aromas to fully develop.
