Mas La Mola L'Expressió del Priorat from Priorat, Spain, is a powerful and seductive dry red still wine crafted from 70% Garnacha and 30% Cariñena. Sourced from younger vines on distinctive llicorella slate soils, the wine is aged for eight months in stainless steel to preserve its inherent freshness. It offers intense blueberry and classic flinty mineral notes, showcasing elegance, good concentration, and a lovely vibrancy. This approachable expression of Priorat pairs beautifully with rich red meats like lamb or beef, making it a versatile choice for many occasions.

Vinification
Most of the fruit hails from younger vines in Mas La Mola’s vineyards, supplemented by grapes from two additional vineyards the estate manages. Farmed organically, the vines are planted on the region’s distinctive llicorella slate soils and have an average age of 20 years old. Winemaker Jordi Masdeu wants to preserve the freshness of the wine, so the blend of 70% Garnacha and 30% Cariñenais left in stainless steel for eight months before bottling.
