Les Vignes de L'Eglise Vermentino Côtes de Thau IGP, France, is a vibrant still dry white wine crafted from Vermentino grapes. Made exclusively for Liberty Wines, this wine benefits from the cooling Mediterranean breezes of the Picpoul de Pinet region, ensuring optimal balance of ripe fruit and freshness. Grapes are gently pressed and undergo cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve bright primary fruit characters. It offers clean and bright aromas of peach, mango, pineapple, and pear, with a balanced palate and crisp acidity leading to a refreshing finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with lean fish, shellfish, or light pasta dishes.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
The grapes were gently pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery, in order to retain the fresh fruit aromas and flavours. The first press juice was transferred to stainless-steel tanks and cold settled for 48 hours. A cool fermentation followed at around 15°C, in order to preserve the bright primary fruit characters. The wine was racked off its lees soon after fermentation was complete, before being lightly fined and bottled.
This aromatic Vermentino is clean and bright, bursting with vibrant fresh fruit notes of peach, mango, pineapple, and pear. Its balanced palate offers crisp acidity, leading to a clean and refreshing finish.
Serve chilled at 12-14°C to best enjoy its vibrant fruit and crisp acidity.
