Kaiken Aventura Los Chacayes Norte Malbec is a vibrant red dry wine from Los Chacayes GI, Argentina, a testament to Kaiken's exploration of Mendoza's unique sub-regions. Crafted from Malbec grapes grown in the high-altitude Los Chacayes Norte vineyard, this wine is fermented and aged for 12 months in concrete tanks, preserving the distinct character of its alluvial soils. It presents an alluring profile of violet floral notes, vibrant layers of black fruit and blueberries, fresh black pepper, and a distinctive saline finish with velvety tannins. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, or mature hard cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.5% ABV
The grapes were harvested by hand at the end of March and then sorted manually at the winery. The grapes underwent pre-fermentation maceration for four days at 10ºC before fermentation for seven days at 24ºC in concrete tanks using selected and indigenous yeasts. Post-fermentation maceration lasted 20 days before the wine was transferred to and matured in separate concrete tanks for 12 months, then a further six months in bottle before release.
This vibrant red Malbec offers an alluring character of violet floral notes, complemented by vibrant layers of black fruit and blueberries. A hint of fresh black pepper and a distinctive saline finish with velvety tannins complete the experience.
Serve this vibrant Red Malbec at 16-18°C; decanting for 30 minutes will enhance its aromas.
