Jane Eyre Fleurie `Vendanges Entières` from Fleurie, France, is a vibrant Red still wine crafted from 100% Gamay grapes. This dry wine undergoes 100% whole-bunch fermentation in ceramic Clayver vessels and is aged in stainless steel and used oak barrels, imparting incredible depth. It offers bright red cherry aromas with subtle white pepper hints, leading to a palate of crunchy red fruit, juicy ripeness, and a fine structure from powdery tannins and vibrant acidity. A versatile choice, it pairs beautifully with poultry, cured meats, or mild cheeses. This wine is also vegan and vegetarian.

Vinification
'Vendanges entières' refers to the whole-bunch vinification of this wine. Upon arrival at the winery the hand-harvested grapes were fed directly into stainless-steel tank for 100% whole-bunch fermentation with ten days on the skins with light pumpovers. After ten days, the wine was pressed and separated from the skins and finished the fermentation in stainless steel. Aged for around five months in a mixture of stainless-steel tanks and used 500-litre oak barrels, the final blend was assembled, filtered and bottled in April 2022.

This vibrant Red Gamay wine offers a delightful aromatic profile of bright red cherry and subtle white pepper, complemented by a mineral edge. On the palate, expect a lovely crunchy fruit character with juicy ripeness, leading to a balanced and elegant finish.
