Izadi Larrosa Negra from Rioja Alavesa, Spain, is a wonderfully fresh expression of still, dry Red Garnacha. Planted at 790 metres and aged for six months in old American and French oak, it offers a vibrant red fruit perfume with floral notes of lavender and wild herbs. The palate reveals a juicy core of red cherry fruit, subtle spice aromatics, and hints of allspice, framed by chalky tannins. This food-friendly wine is a versatile partner for a range of dishes, showcasing the quality of fruit from old bush vine Garnacha.

Vinification
The fruit was hand harvested. The grapes were destemmed. Fermentation and malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and the wine was aged for six months in a combination of second and third fill French and American oak barrels (50/50) to enhance the wine's texture and impart further aromatic complexity.

The Izadi Larrosa Negra is a wonderfully fresh and vibrant red wine, bursting with red cherry fruit and floral notes of lavender. Aged in oak, it reveals subtle spice aromatics and a juicy fruit core, complemented by hints of allspice and chalky tannins on the palate.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 14-16°C, decanting for 30 minutes to allow its vibrant fruit and spice to unfold.
