Gašper Malvazija Goriška Brda, Slovenia, is a vibrant still white wine crafted from the unique Malvazija (Malvasia Istriana) grape. This off-dry expression is fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve its inherent freshness and fruit character, with no malolactic fermentation. It offers intense aromas of tropical fruit, grapefruit, and acacia, leading to a palate that is pleasantly soft yet taut and zesty, with distinct almond flavours and a subtle honeyed finish. Designed to be enjoyed young and fresh, it pairs beautifully with light seafood dishes or creamy pasta.

Vinification
The fruit was pressed in a pneumatic press, followed by fermentation and maturation in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 14°C. No malolactic fermentation took place in order to preserve the freshness and fruit character of the grapes. The wine was aged on its lees for one year prior to bottling.

This Malvazija offers an aromatic and vibrant experience, showcasing intense tropical fruit and grapefruit aromas complemented by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is pleasantly soft yet taut and zesty, revealing distinct almond flavours and a subtle honeyed character that lingers on the finish.
