Famille Perrin Ventoux Rouge from Ventoux, France, is a vibrant Red still wine crafted from a blend of Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. The Perrin family, known for their organic practices, vinify each grape variety separately in cement tanks to preserve primary aromas. This dry wine offers a fragrant bouquet of cherries and blackberries, delicately combined with herbal touches of thyme and mint. On the palate, juicy red and black fruit flavours are balanced by soft, ripe tannins, creating a smooth and beautifully structured experience. It pairs wonderfully with roasted lamb, beef, or mature cheeses.

Vinification

Each grape variety was harvested and vinified separately to reflect the maturity of each parcel. The grapes were destemmed and crushed prior to fermentation in cement tanks to retain the vibrant primary aromas. Regular pump overs were carried out for integrated, ripe tannins. The wines were racked and blended before ageing for 10 months prior to release.
