Famille Perrin Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Southern Rhône, France is a poised Red still dry wine crafted from Grenache and Syrah grapes. The wine undergoes maturation equally split between stainless steel, oak foudres, and oak barrels for 12 months, lending it extra weight and complexity. It delivers excellent value, characterised by notes of pure redcurrant fruit and aromatic Provençal herbs, balanced by ripe and sleek tannins. On the palate, expect redcurrant, crushed strawberries, tapenade, and tobacco, leading to a complex and well-balanced finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with roasted lamb or mature cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.5% ABV
Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were sorted and destemmed. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. Regular pumping over aided extraction. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged partially in stainless steel with the remaining portion aged in combination of both oak foudres and oak barrels for 12 months.
This Côtes-du-Rhône Villages offers a poised and complex experience, characterised by vibrant redcurrant fruit and aromatic Provençal herbs. The palate reveals notes of crushed strawberries, olive tapenade, and a hint of tobacco, all balanced by ripe, sleek tannins.
Serve at 16-18°C; decant for 30-60 minutes to allow its complex aromas to unfold.
