Domaine Sautereau Sancerre Sancerre AOC, France, is a crisp, dry white still wine crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The Sautereau family, with a history dating back to 1683, meticulously farm their vineyards organically, ensuring purity in their wines. Fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures and aged on fine lees, this Sancerre boasts an open and intense nose of grapefruit, mango, and white flowers, complemented by an aromatic gooseberry character. The palate offers a superb balance of tension and finesse, leading to a long, saline, and mineral finish. This expressive wine pairs beautifully with goat cheese, lean fish, or shellfish.

Vinification
Each plot was picked and vinified separately. The pressed grapes were fermented in stainless-steel tanks at relatively cool temperatures of 17-21°C in order to preserve the purity and aromatics of the fruit. The wine was aged in stainless steel on fine lees, before the final blend was assembled and bottled.

This Sancerre offers an open and intense aromatic profile of grapefruit, mango, and white flowers, complemented by an aromatic gooseberry character. The palate delivers a superb balance of tension and finesse, culminating in a long, saline, and mineral finish.
