Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes Bourgogne AOC from Burgundy, France, is a delightful still Red wine (rouge) that is dry and crafted entirely from Pinot Noir grapes. This wine underwent a five-day cool maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, and was then aged for 12 months, with 10% in French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel. It presents a bright ruby colour, brimming with red cherry and raspberry fruit, subtle hints of spice and violet. Velvety tannins and lively acidity lead to a juicy finish.
