Domaine des Sables Verts Saumur-Champigny Saumur-Champigny AOC from the Loire Valley, France, is a vibrant Red (still) wine. This dry Cabernet Franc is crafted from hand-harvested grapes, undergoing short maceration and indigenous yeast fermentation in stainless steel, then aged in tank to preserve its crunchy fruit and freshness. It offers juicy raspberry, blackcurrant, and redcurrant aromas with a subtle mineral edge, leading to a wonderfully refreshing palate with velvety tannins and vibrant acidity. Certified organic, vegan, and vegetarian, it pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, poultry, or mature cheeses.

Vinification
Upon arrival at the winery, the hand-harvested grapes were and transferred into vats by gravity, where they underwent a short maceration on skins for three days to extract colour and aromatics. Fermentation took place using indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures in stainless-steel tanks. Unoaked, Caroline and Hervé choose to age their Saumur Champigny in stainless steel in order to retain its crunchy fruit character and freshness. After five months in tank, the wine was bottled without fining.
