A rich Red wine with intense blueberry and blackberry flavours, softened by mouth-filling fruit

Dandelion Vineyards `Pride of the Fleurieu` Cabernet Sauvignon from Fleurieu Peninsula, Australia, is a superb still, dry red wine crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Hand-picked bunches were gently crushed and fermented before ageing in predominately older French oak barriques, then bottled without filtration or fining. This wine boasts a dark purple hue with bright violet edges. On the nose, it reveals enticing aromas of blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, cassis, menthol, and fennel. The palate is rich, deep, and intensely flavoured with blueberry and blackberry, supported by round, powdery tannins softened by smooth, mouth-filling fruit, leading to an extended finish. This vegan and vegetarian friendly wine pairs wonderfully with roasted meats or mature cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.5% ABV
Selected bunches were hand picked by family and friends and gently crushed into open-top fermenters. After fermentation, the wine was basket pressed into predominately older French oak barriques for ageing, then bottled without filtration or fining.
This Cabernet Sauvignon offers a rich and intense palate of blueberry and blackberry, complemented by aromas of raspberry, cassis, menthol, and fennel. Its round, powdery tannins are beautifully softened by mouth-filling fruit, leading to an extended finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for an hour to allow its rich berry flavours to open up.
