Corte Giara Valpolicella Valpolicella DOC from Valpolicella, Veneto, Italy is a vibrant red still wine, dry and full-bodied, crafted primarily from Corvina and Rondinella grapes. Fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, this wine showcases intense aromas of cherries, blackberry, rose, and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, it is well-balanced with fresh acidity and smooth tannins, offering a delightful and approachable character. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with pasta dishes, red meats, and mature cheeses, making it a versatile choice for many occasions.

The grapes were hand harvested, destemmed and then softly crushed. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks between 26-30°C with daily pump overs for 8-10 days. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally. The wine was aged for three months in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks before being bottled.
This vibrant red wine offers an intense bouquet of cherries and blackberry, complemented by delicate hints of rose and a touch of black pepper. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied, beautifully balanced by fresh acidity and smooth tannins, leading to an approachable and satisfying finish.
Serve at 14-16°C. Decanting for 30 minutes can enhance its fruit profile.
