Château Larose Perganson Les Hauts de Perganson from Saint-Laurent-Médoc, France, is a still, dry red wine crafted from a blend of 53% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8% Petit Verdot. This intense and balanced expression undergoes cold maceration and lengthy skin contact before ageing for 14 months in 50% new French oak barriques, creating supple tannins. It offers a complex bouquet of blackcurrant, plum, vanilla, and a hint of smoke, leading to a palate of rich dark fruit and subtle spice with a smooth texture. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with roasted beef, lamb, and mature hard cheeses.
