This fruit-forward and supple wine opens with a vibrant bouquet of ripe blackcurrant and subtle black tea aromas. Vinified in thermo-regulated concrete tanks and aged predominantly in stainless steel with a third in one-year-old oak barrels, it offers a lively fruit character on the palate, framed by graceful tannins and a gentle, silky texture leading to a polished finish. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with roasted lamb or mature cheeses.

Vinification

The parcels are harvested and vinified separately in thermo-regulated concrete tanks before blending. 'Les Prairies' is a more fruit-forward and supple style. Most of the blend is therefore aged in stainless steel for 12 months, with the remaining 33% aged in one year-old barrels to lend additional roundness to the palate.

Flavour profile

This wine offers a vibrant bouquet of ripe blackcurrant and rich black fruit aromatics, complemented by subtle black tea notes. On the palate, it presents a fruit-forward and supple style with lively fruit character, framed by graceful, elegant tannins and a silky texture leading to a polished, lingering finish.
