Casa Ferreirinha `Esteva` Douro DOC, Douro, Portugal, is a vibrant still, dry red wine (Tinto) crafted from a blend of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional. This unoaked wine is fermented in stainless steel to preserve its bright fruit flavours, reflecting the producer's dedication to vibrant freshness and depth. It offers bright aromas of ripe strawberries, juicy cherries, and floral hints. Smooth on the palate with polished tannins and a well-integrated acidity, it delivers fresh red fruit flavours and a vivacious, elegant finish. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with poultry, lamb, pasta, or mild cheeses.

Vinification
Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were gently destemmed and crushed and then transferred into stainless-steel tanks. Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures in order to preserve the bright fruit flavours of the grapes. The wine is unoaked in order to retain the vibrancy of the fruit flavours, and was kept in stainless steel until the final blend was carefully assembled and subject to cold stabilisation treatment prior to bottling.

This ruby red wine offers bright aromas of ripe strawberries, juicy cherries, and floral hints. On the palate, it is smooth with polished tannins and a well-integrated acidity, leading to an elegant finish with fresh red fruit flavours.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 12-14°C. No decanting required, best enjoyed for its vibrant fruit.
