Can Sumoi Garnatxa Blanca Penedès, Spain. This still, dry White wine, crafted from 100% Garnatxa Blanca, is a collaboration between Pepe Raventós and Francesc Escala, born from their dream to make still wines in Catalonia. Produced at 600 metres above sea level on limestone soils, the vinification involves manual harvests, indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, and limited additions of sulphur, ensuring an expressive and precise character. It offers a gentle fruit character on a weightier palate, with aromas of pear and lemon leading to a refreshing, balanced finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with poultry, lean fish, or mild cheeses.

Francesc and Pepe’s aim is to produce expressive and precise wines through a combination of manual harvests, indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentation and limited additions of sulphur or additives, as well as through using temperature control and inert gas to prevent oxidation.
This dry white wine, crafted from Garnatxa Blanca, offers a delightful gentle fruit character. It presents a weightier palate compared to its counterparts, showcasing a refreshing balance of fruit and subtle herbaceous notes.
