Ca' di Alte Pinot Nero from Colli Berici, Italy, is a delightful still red wine. This dry Pinot Nero, crafted from grapes grown in high-elevation vineyards, benefits from cool nights, ensuring excellent freshness in the final wine. It offers an appealing cherry perfume and a palate with decent depth and excellent length, often surpassing many Bourgogne Pinot Noirs. Vinified with 30% aged in oak for four to five months, it balances its vibrant fruit character with subtle structure. This versatile wine is perfect with poultry, mushrooms, or mild and soft cheeses.

Vinification
The grapes were harvested, destemmed, crushed and then cool soaked for 24 hours. Maceration on the skins took place before fermentation at temperatures of up to 22°C. Following malolactic fermentation, 30% of the wine was aged in oak for four to five months prior to bottling.
