Balnaves Coonawarra Cabernet/Merlot from Coonawarra, South Australia. This still, dry Red wine is a masterful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a touch of Petit Verdot. Matured for 13 months in 20% new French oak, it presents a complex bouquet of red fruit, liquorice, and vanilla. The palate reveals dark plum and sage flavours, beautifully integrated with subtle oak complexity and well-structured tannins. This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with robust dishes such as beef, lamb, or mature hard cheeses. It is also suitable for vegetarians.

Vinification
The fruit was destemmed and sorted prior to fermentation. Following fermentation, the wine was matured for 13 months in 20% new French oak prior to bottling.
