Pickup currently not available
Azamor Petit Verdot Alentejano Vinho Regional, Portugal, is a vibrant Red (still) dry wine crafted entirely from Petit Verdot grapes. This deeply coloured wine offers delicate black fruit aromas, beautifully complemented by subtle smoky notes from 12 months of ageing in French oak, 35% of which is new. On the palate, it reveals intense black fruit flavours, an elegant structure, and velvety tannins leading to an excellent, long finish. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine is a superb accompaniment to rich red meats or mature hard cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.0% ABV
The hand-harvested grapes were fermented in separate stainless steel 10 tanks for up to 10 days at a controlled temperature between 22°c to 24°C. After four days the grapes were pressed and transferred to stainless steel to complete fermentation and undergo malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged for 12 months: 30% in used French oak barrels and the remainder in stainless steel.
This vibrant, deeply coloured Red wine, crafted from 100% Petit Verdot, offers intense black fruit flavours complemented by subtle smoky notes from French oak ageing. It presents an elegant structure with velvety tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decanting for 30 minutes before serving will enhance its complex aromas.
