Axel Pauly `Generations` Mosel Riesling Feinherb from Mosel, Germany, is a delightful still white wine crafted in an off-dry style. Made from 100% Riesling grapes, hand-picked fruit undergoes skin maceration and fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, followed by five months on fine lees to preserve its purity. The nose offers inviting aromas of ripe pear, bright citrus, and yellow stone fruit. On the palate, ripe fruit flavours are beautifully balanced by a subtle flinty minerality and refreshing acidity, leading to a harmonious finish. This versatile wine is perfect with poultry, spicy dishes, or as an aperitif.

Vinification
The hand-picked grapes underwent a maceration on skins for 15 hours to extract maximum varietal flavour. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeast, prior to ageing on fine lees for five months. `Generations` is classified 'Feinherb', an off-dry style of wine achieved by stopping fermentation, leaving some residual sugar in the final wine.
