Ata Rangi Martinborough Pinot Gris from New Zealand is a White (still) dry wine, crafted from handpicked Pinot Gris grapes. Influenced by the wines of Alsace, it is fermented in large barrels with indigenous yeasts and aged on its lees for six months, resulting in a wine of lovely weight and texture. Expect fragrant aromas of fresh pear, lychee, and rose, leading to a palate with spicy notes of nutmeg and ground ginger, balanced by beautiful fresh acidity and a long, complex finish. This wine is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and is organically farmed (uncertified).

Vinification
Fruit was handpicked and whole bunch pressed. The juice was then transferred to large format barrels with minimal settling. Spontaneous indigenous yeast fermentation occurred and then the wine was aged on its lees for six months. No malolactic fermentation was allowed to take place.
