Alpha Zeta `Terrapieno` Pinot Grigio from Valpantena Valley, Italy, is a superb dry White still wine crafted from 100% Pinot Grigio grapes. Conceived by Liberty Wines and New Zealand winemaker Matt Thomson, this wine is a testament to their collaboration, focusing on ripe grapes from hillside vineyards. Fermented and aged in 1200-hectolitre stainless steel tanks, it avoids skin contact to preserve its fresh fruit aromas. It presents lifted aromas of pear and bread crust, leading to a palate of great intensity with a silky texture, hints of dried herbs, and a zesty acidity. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with lean fish, shellfish, and vegetarian dishes. It is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Vinification
The grapes were harvested and gently pressed in a pneumatic press before being immediately cooled to preserve the fresh fruit aromas. Fermentation occurred in 1200-hectolitre stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C, avoiding skin contact. The wine was then aged in 1200-hectolitre stainless steel tanks before bottling.
