Telmo Rodríguez `Al-Muvedre` Monastrell from Alicante, Spain is a vibrant Red (still) wine, dry and crafted from organic Monastrell (Mourvèdre) grapes. Sourced from vineyards in Villena, planted on chalky limestone soils, the grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, where the wine is aged for several months. It offers fragrant notes of ripe bramble fruit, wild garrigue herbs, and a spicy finish. The palate is full-bodied with balanced, polished tannins, leading to a long, expressive finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, hearty stews, or mature cheeses. Certified organic, it truly represents the spirit of the Mediterranean.
75.0CL , 14.0% ABV
The bush trained vines were hand picked before fermentation took place with indigenous yeasts in stainless-steel tanks for 8 months. The resulting wine remained in the same tanks for several months before bottling.
This Monastrell offers a fragrant and expressive profile, showcasing ripe red and black fruit notes complemented by wild garrigue herbs and a distinctive spicy character. It presents a full-bodied palate with balanced, polished tannins and a long, expressive finish.
Serve at 16-18°C; decant for an hour to allow its complex aromas to unfold.
