Willunga 100 McLaren Vale Cabernet Shiraz from Australia's McLaren Vale region is a dry Red wine crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes. Each parcel is fermented in open-top stainless steel, then matured in French oak, with 10% new, for malolactic conversion. It offers intense aromatics of dark cherry, cedar, tobacco, and bay leaf. The palate delivers rich blackcurrant and toasty oak, with a fine tannin structure leading to a savoury finish. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats and mature cheeses.

Each parcel was fermented separately in open top, stainless steel fermenters. Regular pump overs and plunging ensured optimum extraction while maintaining fruit purity. After 10 to 14 days on skins, wines were basket-pressed to stainless steel tanks to complete alcoholic fermentation. The wines were then racked to French oak of which 10% was new, to undergo malolactic conversion and maturation before bottling.
This Red wine offers intense aromatics of dark cherry, cedar, tobacco, and bay leaf. The palate reveals rich blackcurrant and toasty oak, culminating in a savoury finish with fine tannins.
Decant for an hour before serving at 16-18°C.
