Wild Idol Sparkling Rosé
A vibrant Rosé sparkling wine with abundant red fruit and floral notes and refreshing acidity
Wild Idol Sparkling Rosé from Rheinhessen, Germany, is a vibrant and aromatic alcohol-free sparkling rosé crafted from Müller-Thurgau and Merlot grapes. Uniquely, the production involves chilling the grape juice to prevent fermentation, with filtered water, rectified grape must, and natural wine vinegar added to create body and balance. This results in a bright palate abundant in red fruit and floral notes, with refreshing acidity, rhubarb, raspberry, and grapefruit zest, leading to a generous finish. High-pressure carbonation ensures long-lasting bubbles, adding freshness and texture. Vegan and low-calorie, it's excellent as an aperitif or with light appetizers.

Vinification
The production does not involve any artificial intervention and the liquid is not subjected to heat or turbulence, as can be found in many other de-alcoholised drinks. This sparkling rosé is made by freezing the Müller-Thurgau and Merlot grape juice and then using filtered water to balance the natural fruit sugars. Rectified grape must is added to bring further mouthfeel. The liquid is then carbonated and it undergoes a sterile filtration to ensure the product’s stability. This minimises the loss of flavour while promoting a natural balance and purity of fruit, giving the drink an impressive vinous profile.
