Vinification
The grapes were picked at optimum phenolic ripeness and transported to the winery. After total destemming and gentle crushing, the must was fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25°C for about eight days, to maximise fruit flavours and create an easy-drinking red wine. After malolactic fermentation, the wine spent three months in used French oak barrels and was then blended, lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
Flavour profile
This easy-drinking red wine offers vibrant aromas of ripe and juicy cherry and blackberry, complemented by a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it delivers luscious strawberry and cherry flavours, supported by smooth tannins and a refreshing acidity that leads to a pleasant finish.
