Vinha do Monte Vinho Regional Alentejano Tinto from Alentejo, Portugal, is a vibrant Red (still) wine, dry and easy-drinking. This expressive blend of Aragonez (Tempranillo), Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, and Syrah grapes undergoes fermentation in stainless steel before a brief maturation in used French oak barrels. The result is a wine boasting ripe and juicy cherry, blackberry, and strawberry flavours, beautifully complemented by a subtle spiciness, smooth tannins, and refreshing acidity. Its forward fruit profile and balanced structure make it a versatile choice, pairing wonderfully with everything from roasted poultry to hearty pasta dishes. This wine is certified vegan and vegetarian.
75.0CL , 13.0% ABV
The grapes were picked at optimum phenolic ripeness and transported to the winery. After total destemming and gentle crushing, the must was fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25°C for about eight days, to maximise fruit flavours and create an easy-drinking red wine. After malolactic fermentation, the wine spent three months in used French oak barrels and was then blended, lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
This easy-drinking red wine offers vibrant aromas of ripe and juicy cherry and blackberry, complemented by a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it delivers luscious strawberry and cherry flavours, supported by smooth tannins and a refreshing acidity that leads to a pleasant finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for 30 minutes to enhance fruit expression.
