Viña Mayor Ribera del Duero Reserva Ribera del Duero DO, Spain, is a superb Red still dry wine crafted from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from old vines over 60 years old. This certified organic, vegan, and vegetarian wine undergoes 18 months of oak barrel ageing followed by an additional 36 months in bottle, developing a richly textured profile. It offers enticing aromas and flavours of leather, tobacco, ripe black fruit, and sweet spice, leading to a well-structured, rounded, and silky finish. A versatile choice, it pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, game, or mature hard cheeses.

Vinification
The grapes were hand harvested and then were carefully selected using a sorting table. After destemming, they were lightly crushed before temperature-controlled fermentation was carried out. Maceration took place for around 30 days, before the wine was aged for 18 months in oak barrels. The wine was then aged for up to 36 months in bottle before release.
