Vigneti Zabù `Il Passo Verde` Organic Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC, from Sicily, Italy, is a certified organic still Red wine crafted from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes. This dry, full-bodied expression is fermented in stainless steel, with 50% aged in French and American oak barriques and 50% in concrete tanks for six to eight months, developing a deep ruby red hue. It offers a captivating bouquet of red and dark fruits, hints of spice, balsamic, and eucalyptus, leading to a palate with well-balanced acidity and lingering spicy black fruit. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs wonderfully with rich meat dishes or mature cheeses.

The best organic grapes were selected to produce this wine. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks for eight days at controlled temperatures of 24°C-25°C. 50% of the wine was aged in French and American oak for around six to eight months, where it underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine was then bottled to preserve the fruit flavours.
This deep ruby red Nero d'Avola offers a captivating bouquet of red and dark fruits, complemented by hints of spice, balsamic, and eucalyptus. On the palate, it is full-bodied with well-balanced acidity and a lingering finish of spicy black fruit.
Serve at 16-18°C; decanting for 30 minutes will enhance its rich flavours.
