Vetus Toro Toro DO Spain is a still, dry red wine, meticulously crafted from Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) grapes grown in extreme conditions. This powerful and elegant wine is aged for 12 months in 100% new French oak barrels, imparting bright aromas of ripe red and black fruits, smoke, and toast, beautifully complemented by subtle spice notes and liquorice. On the palate, it delivers magnificent fruit concentration, robust tannins, and a harmonious balance of power and elegance, leading to a stunning, long finish. This vegetarian-friendly wine pairs exceptionally well with roasted beef, rich lamb dishes, or mature cheeses.

Vinification
The grapes were handpicked, destemmed and partially crushed before undergoing a cool soaking for three days. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks, with frequent pumping over to extract both tannins and colour. The wine was then aged for 12 months in 100% new French oak barrels before being bottled.
