Terrazze dell'Etna Ciuri Bianco from Etna, Italy, is a captivating White (still) wine crafted from Nerello Mascalese grapes, vinified 'in bianco' without skin contact. This unoaked, dry wine is produced from vines planted on volcanic soil at 550-750 metres above sea level on the northern slopes of Etna, ensuring great intensity and a lovely perfume. After hand harvesting and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 12°C, followed by ageing in stainless steel. It presents a light straw yellow colour with youthful reflections. The nose is fresh and fragrant with notes of tropical fruit and a hint of thyme, leading to a well-balanced palate with vibrant acidity and a long, mineral finish. Its depth and wonderful length make it an excellent accompaniment to lean fish, shellfish, or light pasta dishes.
