Terrazze dell'Etna `Carusu` Etna Rosso, Italy. This Red still dry wine, made from 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Capuccio, undergoes fermentation with maceration on skins for at least 40 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for six months in stainless steel, then six months in used 500-litre barrels, and a further year in bottle before release. It offers vibrant red fruit and spicy nuances, leading to a well-structured body with round tannins and a clean, lingering finish. Perfect with roasted meats or rich pasta dishes.

Vinification
Fermentation took place with maceration on the skins and thorough pump overs and delestage for at least 40 days. Malolactic fermentation occurred spontaneously, and the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for six months prior to a further 6 months in barrel. The wine was then aged in bottle for 12 months before release.
Flavour profile
This Etna Rosso offers a vibrant and mineral character, showcasing ripe red fruit aromas with spicy nuances. On the palate, it presents a well-structured body with round tannins and a clean, lingering finish.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 16-18°C; decant for 30 minutes to allow its structured character to unfold.
