Mount Pleasant `Estate Grown` Hunter Valley Semillon from Hunter Valley, Australia, is a vibrant still dry White (Blanc) wine crafted entirely from Semillon grapes. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to preserve its delicate aromatics, it offers intense aromas of citrus and lemongrass with a hint of dried herbs. The palate is concentrated with lemon and lime flavours, driven by a beautiful acidity leading to a long finish. This vegetarian-friendly wine is a versatile choice, pairing wonderfully with lean fish, shellfish, or poultry.

Vinification
Once at the winery, the Semillon was destemmed and pressed off skins to stainless steel tank. Here the juice was cold settled before being racked off. The must was inoculated with a specific neutral yeast strain chosen to highlight the vineyard's specific flavours, and fermentation was conducted at cold temperatures to retain the delicate aromas. Following fermentation, the wines were settled, blended, and gently fined before being filtered to bottle.
