Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon from Colchagua Valley, Chile, is a refined still red wine that is dry and crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This wine offers complex aromas of ripe cherry and strawberry, intertwined with spicy notes of black pepper and a hint of smoky oak from its 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels. On the palate, it delivers a vibrant and flavourful experience, supported by rounded tannins and a refined structure. It pairs exceptionally well with robust dishes such as beef, lamb, or mature hard cheeses.

The fruit for this wine was harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in large containers. A manual selection was carried out prior to destemming. The grapes were macerated in tanks for five days, after which selected yeasts were added for a controlled fermentation lasting 7-10 days. The wine was racked into stainless steel tanks for malolactic fermentation. The wine was then racked once again and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. A portion of the wine remained in concrete tanks and was blended into the final wine just before bottling.
This full-bodied red wine offers a complex aromatic profile of ripe cherry and strawberry, intertwined with spicy notes of black pepper and a hint of smoky oak. On the palate, it delivers a vibrant and flavourful experience, supported by rounded tannins and a refined structure.
