Mandrarossa Frappato Terre Siciliane IGT from Sicily, Italy, is a vibrant still red (ruby) wine, crafted dry from 100% Frappato grapes. The grapes were machine-harvested at night to preserve freshness, followed by maceration and fermentation at cool temperatures, then matured in steel vats for four months. This wine presents an intense ruby red hue with purple reflections, offering inviting aromas of morello and marasca cherries, small red berries, and sweet spices. The palate is bright, balanced, and culminates in a long, satisfying finish. It is a versatile choice, pairing beautifully with pasta dishes, poultry, or lean fish. This wine is also certified vegan and vegetarian.

The grapes were machine-harvested at night over a period of 40 days to preserve quality and freshness. Maceration and fermentation took place over the course of 15-20 days at 16-18°C. The wine was then matured in steel vats for around four months before bottling.
This Frappato offers an inviting bouquet of morello and marasca cherries, complemented by hints of small red berries and sweet spices. On the palate, it is bright and balanced, delivering a delightful and persistent finish.
Serve at 14-16°C. A brief decant can enhance its aromatic profile.
