Les Vignes de L'Eglise Rosé de Syrah Côtes de Thau IGP, France, is a delightful still Rosé (rosado) wine, crafted from 100% Syrah grapes. This dry wine undergoes skin-contact maceration for several hours, resulting in its charming pink hue, and is unoaked with no malolactic fermentation to preserve its vibrant freshness. It opens with inviting aromas of summer berries and sweet pea, leading to a palate that showcases a charming red-fruit profile, lifted by a crisp, mouthwatering freshness. This versatile and elegant wine is perfect with poultry, light appetizers, or vegetarian dishes. It is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
75.0CL , 13.5% ABV
Skin-contact maceration lasted for several hours during the filling phase of the pneumatic press. The deeper pink colour is the result of the very warm growing season which produced small and concentrated berries. The juice was cold settled for 48 hours at 8° C, followed by a lengthy and slow fermentation under strict temperature-controlled conditions (15° C). The wine is unoaked and did not go through malolactic fermentation.
This delightful rosé offers vibrant aromas of summer berries and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it presents a charming red-fruit profile, balanced by a crisp, mouthwatering freshness.
Serve chilled at 10-12°C. No decanting required.
