Gabriëlskloof Bot River Sauvignon Blanc from Bot River, South Africa, is an elegant still dry white wine crafted from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Fermented in stainless-steel tanks with indigenous yeast and aged on its lees for seven months, it develops a rounded mouthfeel. It presents signature aromas of blackcurrant leaf, flint, and subtle orange blossom. The palate is fresh with a racy acidity, bursting with lychee, pineapple, and tangy fresh lime flavours. This wine is suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.
75.0CL , 13.5% ABV
The grapes were vinified by plot. Once at the winery, they were mainly destemmed and crushed, with 15% pressed in whole bunches. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks using indigenous yeast. The wine was aged on the lees for seven months for a rounded mouthfeel and then blended with just a light filtering prior to bottling.
This elegant Sauvignon Blanc offers a vibrant aromatic profile of blackcurrant leaf and subtle orange blossom, complemented by a hint of flint. The palate is fresh and racy, bursting with tangy notes of lychee, pineapple, and fresh lime, leading to a rounded mouthfeel.
Serve chilled at 12-14°C to best enjoy its vibrant fruit and crisp acidity.
