A vibrant white wine with bright citrus, exotic fruit, and a wonderfully textural finish
Framingham F-Series, Marlborough Old Vine Riesling from New Zealand is a superb dry white still wine crafted from organically certified Riesling grapes. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes spontaneous fermentation, with a portion aged in old oak and acacia barrels, then blended and aged for ten months on its lees, imparting remarkable texture and complexity. It reveals bright aromas of orange peel and lemon zest, complemented by savoury notes and wet stone. The palate delivers powerful, concentrated exotic fruit flavours, a textural mouthfeel, and a long, fresh finish. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with rich fish or poultry dishes.

Vinification
Fruit was all hand harvested. 90% was immediately whole bunch pressed to tank, settled for 6hrs and then run to Acacia barrel for spontaneous fermentation. The remainder (10%) was destemmed and went through partial fermentation on skins prior to being pressed off to ceramic jars to complete ferment. The various components were then left un-sulphured on full ferment lees for 10 months before being blended and bottled.
