Finca Villacreces `Pruno` Ribera del Duero DO, Spain, is a deep Red (Rouge) still dry wine, a hidden jewel from the region's 'golden mile'. Crafted from a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, it is aged for 10 months in second and third-year French oak barrels. This concentrated wine offers enticing aromas of red berry fruit, balsamic, and toffee. The fruit-driven palate reveals notes of red and black fruits, chocolate, and spice, all framed by well-integrated tannins and a juicy finish. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine is a versatile choice, pairing beautifully with roasted meats and mature cheeses.

Vinification
All varieties were fermented separately in small stainless-steel tanks. They were then aged separately in second and third-year French oak barrels (Darnajou, Taransaud, Demptos and Berthomieu) for 10 months, after which the final blend was assembled and the wine bottled.
Flavour profile
This concentrated and complex red wine showcases vibrant red and black fruit notes alongside hints of spice. Aromas of red berry fruit mingle with balsamic and toffee from oak ageing, leading to a fruit-driven palate with chocolate nuances, well-integrated tannins, and a juicy finish.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 16-18°C. Decanting for 30-60 minutes will enhance its complex fruit and spice notes.
