Finca Flichman Tanguero from Mendoza, Argentina, is a vibrant Red (still) Malbec, crafted to be enjoyed young and fresh. This dry wine showcases ripe red fruit aromas of plum, cherry, and strawberry, leading to a palate rich with plum and raspberry, complemented by rounded, silky tannins. Vinified primarily in stainless-steel tanks with a small portion matured in French oak, it offers excellent varietal character and expresses the exuberance of its Argentinian heritage. This versatile wine is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, making it a great choice for various dishes, from pasta to poultry.
75.0CL , 13.5% ABV
All grapes were machine harvested, then cold settled for 24 hours at 10°C. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks for 10 days at 24°C, with regular pump-overs performed. Malolactic conversion took place in tank. A portion of the wine (20%) was matured for three months in third-use 225-litre French oak barrels, with the rest (80%) remaining in stainless-steel tanks, followed by two months of ageing in bottle prior to release.
This vibrant red Malbec offers an inviting bouquet of ripe red fruits, including plum, cherry, and strawberry. On the palate, it delivers juicy flavours of plum and raspberry, beautifully balanced by rounded, silky tannins for a smooth finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Best enjoyed young and fresh, no decanting required.
