Domaine de l'Hortus Bergerie de L'Hortus Rouge Pic Saint-Loup AOC, Pic Saint-Loup, France, is a vibrant still Red wine. This dry blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Syrah offers an expressive nose of fresh black fruit notes with hints of liquorice and aromatic herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing bright red and black fruit intensity, vibrant acidity, and underlying spice, framed by soft tannins. A small percentage of Mourvèdre was aged in two-year-old barrels, adding weight and complexity. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with roasted beef, lamb, poultry, or mature hard cheeses.

A small percentage of the Mourvèdre was aged in two-year-old barrels to add weight to the blend whilst the Syrah and Grenache were kept in stainless steel before blending and bottling.
This vibrant red blend offers an expressive nose of fresh black and red fruits, complemented by subtle hints of liquorice and aromatic herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, showcasing a lively balance of fruit intensity, vibrant acidity, and a touch of underlying spice, all framed by soft tannins.
