De Loach `Heritage Collection` Zinfandel from Central Coast, USA, is a still, dry red wine crafted from Zinfandel grapes. The winemaking involves a pre-fermentation cold soak for deep colour extraction, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks with cap punching down. A post-fermentation warm maceration ensures ripe, well-integrated tannins, with a small portion of the wine aged in seasoned French oak barrels. This certified organic wine bursts with enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherry, and sweet spices. The palate is full-bodied with bold fruit, ripe tannins, and well-integrated oak, offering a rich and satisfying experience. It pairs wonderfully with hearty beef dishes, lamb, or mature cheeses.

A pre-fermentation cold soak was carried out to extract deep colour. During fermentation, which took place in stainless steel tanks, the cap was punched down, followed by post-fermentation warm maceration, for extraction of ripe, well-integrated tannins. The wine was aged mainly in stainless steel tanks and a small portion was aged in 227 litre seasoned French oak barrels.
This full-bodied red wine bursts with enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherry, and sweet spices. The palate is rich with bold fruit, ripe tannins, and a well-integrated oak finish, offering a satisfying and complex experience.
Serve at 16-18°C, decanting for an hour to allow its rich flavours to fully develop.
