De Loach `Heritage Collection` Chardonnay, from the Russian River Valley, USA, is a still, dry White wine. Crafted from Chardonnay grapes, it undergoes fermentation in stainless steel, concrete, and French oak (70% oak, 10% new), with barrel-aged portions for 10 months after malolactic fermentation, enhancing its complexity and mouthfeel. Enticing aromas of white peach, honeysuckle, and brioche lead to a medium-bodied palate. Juicy acidity and a creamy texture reveal ripe pear, lemon curd, and vanilla, culminating in a lively finish. This versatile, certified organic, vegan, and vegetarian wine pairs beautifully with poultry, rich fish, or creamy pasta.

Vinification
Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks in order to retain the Chardonnay grapes' fresh primary fruit aromas. A small proportion of barrel-fermented Chardonnay was added to the final blend, lending some aromatic complexity and richer mouthfeel.

This elegant Chardonnay offers enticing aromas of white peach, honeysuckle, and a hint of brioche. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel, revealing flavours of ripe pear, lemon curd, and a touch of vanilla, all balanced by a lively, juicy acidity.
