Château Mouras from Graves, France, is a superb dry red still wine, an oak-aged blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Petit Verdot. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, it presents a complex and aromatic nose of red berry and blackberry fruits, mingled with warming spices and a touch of cedar wood. The palate offers a supple texture with an attractive mineral character, where dark fruit and spice provide excellent depth, supported by ripe, smooth tannins. This elegant wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats or mature cheeses.

Vinification
The grapes were hand-picked then spent nearly four weeks on their skins at 28°C - 30°C. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation at 22°C and was then aged for 12 months in oak barrels.

This oak-aged red wine offers a complex and aromatic profile, showcasing expressive red berry and blackberry fruits intertwined with warming spices and a hint of cedar. The palate is supple, revealing dark fruit, mineral notes, and smooth, ripe tannins.
Serving recommendation
Serve at 16-18°C, decant for an hour to allow it to open up.
