Château La Verrerie Hautes Collines Viognier from Luberon, France, is a vibrant still white wine. Crafted from 100% Viognier grapes, this dry and well-structured wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks to preserve its delicate aromas and flavours. It opens with expressive notes of apricot and honeysuckle, leading to a palate defined by layers of fresh stone fruits and a distinctive saline finish, balanced by a vibrant freshness. Certified organic and suitable for vegetarians, it offers a versatile pairing for poultry, rich fish, or mild and soft cheeses.
75.0CL , 14.0% ABV
The Viognier grapes were harvested at night to preserve the freshness and delicate aromas and flavours. Once at the winery, they were carefully sorted, first by entire bunch and then by berry after a full de-stemming. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures for 20 to 25 days, followed by a period of settling before bottling and release.
This vibrant still white Viognier offers a delicate floral bouquet and layers of fresh stone fruits. It presents expressive notes of apricot and honeysuckle, leading to a well-structured palate with a distinctive saline finish and vibrant freshness.
Serve chilled at 12-14°C to best enjoy its vibrant fruit and floral notes.
