Château du Rouët `Villa Estérelle` Côtes de Provence AOC, France, is a delicate, pale pink Rosé wine. This still, dry wine is crafted from a blend of Grenache, Tibouren and Cinsault grapes, harvested at night and undergoing cold maceration to preserve delicate aromas. It offers an enchanting bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, wild thyme, and subtle floral notes, complemented by ripe citrus and red berry flavours on the refreshing palate. A mouthwatering acidity leads to a poised and elegant finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with light poultry dishes, lean fish, or as an aperitif.
75.0CL , 12.5% ABV
The ‘Villa Estérelle’ Rosé, made solely from estate grown fruit, is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Tibouren. The grapes were harvested at night in order to retain the freshness and aromatics and each of the grape varieties was vinified separately. At the winery, a short cold maceration on the skins was carried out before fermentation to extract aromas and a delicate pale pink colour. The grapes were then fermented in stainless-steel tanks at low temperatures between 14° and 16°C. Unoaked, the wine was kept in stainless-steel tanks for a brief period to allow the final blend to marry before being bottled.
This delicate, pale pink Rosé offers an enchanting bouquet of fresh strawberry, raspberry, and wild thyme, complemented by subtle floral nuances. The palate is refreshing and elegant, with bright citrus and red berry flavours carried by a mouthwatering acidity to a poised finish.
Serve chilled at 10-12°C to best enjoy its delicate aromas and refreshing palate.
