Château du Moulin-à-Vent Moulin-à-Vent Moulin-à-Vent AOC from Beaujolais, France, is a vibrant Red (still) wine. This dry Gamay, from vines averaging 65 years old on pink granite soils, offers a vibrant aromatic nose of cherries and blueberries. The palate is round and balanced with firm yet ripe tannins and a lingering cracked-black-pepper finish. Hand-harvested grapes undergo pump overs and are aged in French oak barrels, with a focus on purity of fruit. This vegan and vegetarian-friendly wine pairs beautifully with poultry, cured meats, or mild cheeses.

Vinification
The grapes were harvested by hand and brought to the winery. Pump overs were carried out during cold pre-fermentation and at the end of fermentation to provide roundness and finesse to the wine. The wine was kept in stainless steel until the final blend was assembled and bottled.

Serving recommendation
