Château de Vaudieu, 'Closerie de Vaudieu' Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC, France, is a superb Red still dry wine crafted from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault. Aged for 10 months in underground concrete tanks, it presents a complex nose of ripe red cherry, blackberry, and subtle dried herbs with a hint of liquorice. The palate is full-bodied with ripe, soft tannins that carry flavours of cherry, cassis, and herbal notes, leading to a long finish. This versatile wine pairs beautifully with roasted lamb or mature hard cheeses.

Vinification
Upon arrival at the winery the grapes were destemmed and crushed before being transferred into a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Maceration lasted approximately 30 days, during which pumping over and unloading were carried out daily. The wine was then aged in underground concrete tanks for 10 months.

Serve at 16-18°C. Decant for an hour to allow its complex aromas to unfold.
