Château de Fontenille Bordeaux Rouge Bordeaux AOC, France, is a classic still red wine, dry and full-bodied, crafted from a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Half of the wine is aged in oak barrels, with the remainder in stainless steel, contributing to its elegant structure. It offers lingering berry fruit notes on the nose and palate, complemented by characteristic smoky, cigar-box nuances. This well-structured wine is an excellent accompaniment to a variety of dishes, from roasted meats to mature cheeses.

Vinification
The grapes were destemmed and crushed before undergoing fermentation in temperature-controlled, stainless-steel tanks. The varieties were vinified separately before being aged, half in French oak barrels, a percentage of which were new, the remainder in vats, prior to blending and bottling.

This classic Bordeaux blend offers an elegant and approachable experience. On the nose and palate, expect lingering notes of ripe berry fruit, beautifully complemented by characteristic smoky and cigar-box nuances, leading to a well-structured and full-bodied finish.

Serve at 12-14°C; decant for an hour to enhance its complex character.
